We are looking forward to a great Riverside Festival for 2010.  As a celebration of Riverside's 10th anniversary, and Stamford Festival's 30th anniversary, this year's event will be spread over 2 days, Saturday 3rd July and Sunday 4th July. For more details see Festival Info .

Bands & Artists - Please note that applications to perform at this years festival have now closed.   Thank you to the bands and artists who have applied to play this year -we have had a record number of applications.  Information about the final line-ups has now been published on the Festival Info page

Road To Riverside Competition, in association with the Stamford Mercury – This year's winner, receiving the largest number of votes, is AMICUS.  They will be appearing on the Riverside Stage.  For more details, see Festival Info.

LINE UP CHANGE: Please note that unfortunately, due to illness Animal Kingdom have had to pull out of the festival on Saturday.  Decades & Digital have kindly agreed to fill the 16.20 slot on the Riverside Stage.

Be Creative Competitions  -  This year Riverside Festival are running Poetry, Photography and ShortStory Writing Competitions for children and young people.  For more information and entry forms, see the details under Festival Info. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE CORRECT POSTAGE IS APPLIED TO YOUR ENTRIES - if the entry does not have the correct postage, it may not be accepted.

         Admission to Riverside Festival - There is no formal admission charge for the event which is operated on a not-for-profit basis but we will once again be asking our audience to make a voluntary donation on entry to the festival. In exchange for a donation, we will provide supporters with a Coloured Wristband - a different colour each day.  Please show your support for us - SHOW YOUR COLOURS - and encourage others to do the same.

The team are determined to keep Riverside affordable for everyone. The costs of staging our two day event this year are estimated to be over £120,000. We need your help and support to ensure we can continue to stage the event for everyone’s enjoyment.

In 2009 we raised a fantastic £20,000+ from donations on the day - with a small percentage going to the organisations who supplied the volunteers to collect.  Thank you for your generosity, but we need to raise even more this year.  We would be grateful for a modest donation - such as: adults - £2, and children over the age of 12 - £1, but of course all donations are welcome, whatever the amount and you are very welcome to give us more!

The sessions are designed to provide you with information about :

• -       Our plans for 2010 and beyond
• -       How we are organised and funded
• -       How you can support us
• -       How organisations and businesses can work in partnership with us

We will be able to answer your questions, listen to any concerns you may have about the event and your suggestions for improvements.
