Bands and artists
You are the highlight of the festival.  Applications are now closed for the 2010 Festival.  The stage committees will shortly be meeting to decide on the line-ups, and details will be published under Festival Info as soon as they are available.

Stallholders and charities

With a footfall of 46,000 people attending the Festival throughout the day last year, there is scope for a wide range of outlets. With a two-day event for 2010, our pricing structure has been modified to allow for the extra opportunities.  Prices are £100 for Saturday, £75 for Sunday, or £150 for both days, with some concessions available, so please contact us if you are interested in booking now.  Cheques should be made payable to 'The Riverside Association of Music & Arts Ltd'. Important Extra Information for stallholders
Our stalls policy is to encourage local crafts people and traders to exhibit and sell their wares. We are particularly interested in crafts people who can demonstrate their trade on the day. The event runs from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday and noon to 7pm on Sunday. Please arrive in good time in the morning, preferably between 8 and 11am.  Please specify arrival times on the application form. For departure times, discuss this with Kev to make arrangements.

Caterers

Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of most voluntary organisations but in Riverside's case they are our heroes and the event simply wouldn’t happen without their support.

The Festival is planned, organised and run year round by a small team of volunteers with additional volunteers who help at the event, and the vast majority of our bands and performers volunteer their time as well.

You can never have too much of a good thing and as the saying goes ‘many hands make light work’, so we always need more people to help us especially as the event gets bigger each year.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make new friends and provides an opportunity for you to use your existing skills and abilities and learn and use new ones. As well as working hard particularly at the festival itself, we also have a lot of fun along the way.

Who can volunteer?
Volunteering is open to everyone our current team of volunteers ages range from 15 – 60+. Employee volunteering schemes are also becoming increasingly popular and we have been delighted to have assistance from staff teams from local businesses helping us in recent years.

How much time will it take?
You can offer to help us for as little or as much time s you want, we usually ask for a minimum time commitment of just two hours.
