Train:

Stamford Station is located just a few minutes walk from the festival site. Local Train Services are operated by Cross Country Trains who once again are working in partnership with us to help travellers get to the festival. They will be providing additional carriages on their existing train services on festival days.

Due to the high level of passengers using the station additional staff from both Cross Country Trains and East Midlands Trains who operate the station will be on duty along with staff from the British Transport Police. Train ticket checks will be in full operation throughout the festival and penalty fare tickets will be issued where necessary.

Direct trains from Stamford operate towards Peterborough, Ely, March Cambridge and Stanstead Airport and in the opposite direction towards Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Leicester and ultimately through to Birmingham.

Find details of available trains on Riverside weekend here, or download details here .

Taxi:

Taxi ranks are located in:

Broad Street - operates 24 hours (except Fridays)

St Mary's Hill (outside town hall) - operational 21.00 - 3.00 only

Parking:

Parking space is at a premium in the Town particularly on Festival Days and we would strongly encourage you to use public transport wherever possible.  Unfortunately some of the main car parking space in the Town has to be closed to cars during the festival making the problem even worse.
